Myanmar Exciting Report
Paul Syn, our Myanmar Director for the Witness Project just sent us an exciting report.
Brother Paul reported that at their second ISWDI in Myanmar more than seventy came to know the Lord. What an awesome thing to happen when you are there to train soul winners. It proves how the Lord works in every situation if we are living and serving our Lord.
At the actual training institute, four hundred attended and were able to receive the Operation Go materials to take home with them. They will use them to train many others in their churches. He mentions how much he appreciates David Wood Ministries and what has been accomplished there because of the ministry.

Q & A
Question: Dr. Wood, How do I get started? Every time I witness to somebody I am extremely nervous. Sometimes I offend people when I do not mean to.
Answer: First of all, let me assure you this is very normal for every Christian and every soul winner. Soul Winning Testimony

We do not often realize the impact we have on others when we mention the subject of Jesus Christ and the Christian life that we live daily. We never know whose lives are affected that we come in contact with each day. Excellence

Excellence may have become the forgotten attribute in our casual-obsessed culture. We seem to be mired in a mundane malaise of mediocrity.
What Jesus did – He did with excellence. The water turned to wine was hailed as the “best.” In Mark chapter seven the people who witnessed Jesus miracles exclaimed, “He doth all things well.” When He fed the multitudes the Bible records that all were fed and all were filled. His sinless life is the highest example of His supreme excellence.

Church Growth

Over the past ten years we have used many different ways to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While some have seemed to be more effective than others, almost all have produced fruit. We continue to use the GO CLUB from DW Ministries as a direct way of presenting the gospel. We have seen a large number of people in our community come to Christ through this program. We have trained over forty soul-winners and have a class of eight at the present time.

I have been moved as I have seen other cultures bow prostrate before false gods. I recall the last time that I was in Thailand. I was touring a Buddhist temple when I stopped and was fascinated by what looked like a husband and wife both lying prostrate before their gods. As I watched them, I began to laugh inside and think how foolish. Then suddenly the Holy Spirit convicted me. He spoke to my heart and said, “Scott, when was the last time you were prostrate before me? Here these people are pouring out their hearts to a dead god; but when was the last time you poured out your heart to Me, the One who created you?”
